Inspire, Encourage, Equip

With a wealth of experience of online and digital media, my aim is to inspire, encourage and equip you to use these tools, not just for your own benefit, but for God's too.

Hi, I’m so happy that you are here! I’m Clementine (but most people call me Clem).

I am the founder of Clementine Rose (the name might be a bit of a giveaway), and I’m a content specialist, inspiring, encouraging and equipping Christian churches, communities, businesses and individuals for the online and digital world.

I live in the beautiful cathedral city of Lichfield with my husband, David, our many musical instruments, and our continually growing collection of books and teddy bears.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20.

My Values

I’m passionate about creating Christian content, spreading the Good News of the Gospel and making Jesus known. This is the main focus of all that I do. I am also passionate about helping and supporting Christian churches, communities, businesses and individuals. I want to use the skills and experiences I have gained over the years to passionately inspire, encourage and equip.

Throughout all that I do, in everyday life, in my relationships, work and all the bits in between, I keep God at the centre. I like to remain true to myself and my values, and to express this in my work and with those whom I work.

My faith is very important to me. I haven’t got room in this little space to write my whole testimony, but it’s only through God that I am where I am today, through His help, His guidance, His healing and His miracles. My faith is at the centre of my online presence, social media and work. I love to express my faith in all that I do.

My Christian values are important to me. Staying true to the Word of God is something that I hold very close, and I seek to express this in my day-to-day life and work. It’s the foundation of all I do, and enables me to approach everything life brings to me on solid ground.

“Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14. I want all that I do to be for God and to share God’s wonderful love with others. My writing, content creation and work comes from my love of wanting to help and support others, and to meet them wherever they are on their journey of faith.

By joining my Clementine Rose community, you will be working with someone who has over 10 years’ experience developing and managing an online presence, both web-based and on social media.

As part of that, I have collaborated with many different brands, companies and publishers, both in the UK and abroad.

I love photography, and take, and edit using Adobe Lightroom, all my own photos both for my blog and for social media. I have extensive experience running my own website on the WordPress platform, creating my own graphics, and creating a cohesive style across social media platforms. I also have plenty of experience using software for planning and scheduling social media posts.

I keep God at the centre of all my work. I see my website, business, blog and social media presence not just as outlets for my own creativity, but as tools for evangelism, outreach and mission. I’d like the online world to offer you the same mission and outreach opportunities as it’s offered me.

I’m passionate about the use of online and digital media in the church. It can be effective in reaching more people, including those who may be unable to go to church, but who want to grow in their faith, connect with a church community, and who would love to be able to engage with Christian content. It’s not just about the church though. Christian organisations, communities and businesses can all benefit from an effective online and digital presence, as can individuals too.

My online journey started at a young age. After getting my first laptop, I discovered I had a passion for creating blogs, websites and social media content.

There have definitely been some challenges along the way, and plenty of times when I’ve felt overwhelmed. Perhaps you’re feeling this too?

After 10 years’ experience running my own blog Clem Loves, I’ve learnt a huge amount about the online and digital world. As Clem Loves developed from a lifestyle blog to one focused on Christian content, I developed a real understanding of the challenges churches in particular face when seeking to build their online and digital presence.

With the knowledge and skills I’ve gained I’m passionate about helping people like you develop their online and digital presence.

But first, I’d love you to get to know me better…

I’m a Lincolnshire girl born and bred. I grew up going to Sunday School in a small town Methodist Church. Subsequently, I’ve been part of Anglcian, Baptist and Pentecostal churches, and currently worship at Lichfield Methodist Church.

I’m a huge book lover. Along with reading, writing and photography, I love to paint and journal in my Bible. I love being outdoors, discovering new places and going on an adventure. It’s when I’m outside, amongst nature and God’s wonderful creation, I feel the creative juices flow.

Over the years I’ve had to adapt the way I approach and do certain physical tasks and activities. Back in 2017, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. I talk more about my health and in particular, having Crohn’s Disease, on my blog.

Since I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, not only have I learnt to be adaptable, but I’ve learnt to be flexible too. I’ve also learnt to appreciate the little things in life, living more mindfully and intentionally.

As part of this I have really enjoyed developing my monthly newsletter, Little Notes of Light, which is another way I seek to inspire encourage and equip my online community.

When used effectively and with intention, social media and the online world has so much to offer us, not just as individuals, but as churches, communities and businesses. You may be surprised to hear, that’s where I met my husband, David, and we got married in 2022.

We both enjoy so many of the same things, including living simply and consciously. We own a 43ft narrowboat called Dylan, and with a speed limit of 4mph on the canals, life doesn’t get much slower than that.

Just like the journey I’ve been on, together, I want to journey alongside others, in their churches, businesses and individual Christian lives. At the heart of all these things is our shared mission to bring people to Christ.

Now you've got to know a bit more about me, I'd love to get to know you and find out how I can help you develop your online and digital presence.

Frequently Asked Questions

I know all too well just how overwhelming it can be to create, run and develop an online and digital presence, I’ve definitely been there before. But the great thing is you don’t have to do it alone. Having had that experience myself in the past, I want you to know that I’m here to help and support you on your journey.

I’m conscious that when it comes to churches in particular, money is tight, and therefore, it’s important to direct financial resources to where they can be most effectively deployed. I’m also aware that churches rely on an amazing group of volunteers, all willing and able, but who might benefit from an outside perspective.
